Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Matthias Schoenberg, CEO of SIMONA Group, to our site in the Czech Republic. It was his first visit in three years, which gave him a unique opportunity to see firsthand how much has changed – especially thanks to our recent production expansion project, which we’ve previously shared here. During his visit, Mr. Schoenberg toured all departments of our company, gaining a comprehensive view of our daily operations, improvements, and culture. We were pleased to present the results of the expansion project, which was successfully completed within both the planned timeline and budget. Mr. Schoenberg expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes as well as with the dedication of our entire team. We also had the chance to discuss our upcoming plans and long-term vision, and were happy to hear his confidence in our future initiatives. Growth was driven primarily by a strong first quarter. Operating earnings were impacted by currency effects, particularly unrealised exchange rate losses in China.
